The RPW-S parallel gripper is suitable for gripping and swivelling workpieces through 90° or 180°.

Customers Advantages:

• The parallel grippers with swivelling clamping jaws are mainly used where workpieces are to be put in a horizontal position from a vertical one, and are to be fed in this position.
• These swivelling clamping jaws involve an additional axis in the handling technology. This would eliminate the otherwise necessary re-gripping or intermediate depot.
• A serial parallel gripper, type RPW, does the clamping. The swivelling of the clamping jaws is done by a pneumatic stroke cylinder with leverage fitted to the side.
• Maintenance work is not necessary.
• With the pallet pick-up, the opening stroke of the clamping jaws can be limited with a stop screw in one of the two swivel positions. As an option, each position can be monitored with inductive proximity switches.
